DRÄXLMAIER plans for a new E-mobility plant in Romania

DRÄXLMAIER  presented the plans for a new E-mobility plant in Timișoara, Romania, during an event to local authorities, the German ambassador and German Consul in Romania.

The project will be implemented in the next six years consisting of the construction of over 40,000 m2 of production area, warehouses and office buildings. In the new facility, DRÄXLMAIER Timișoara will produce electronic and high voltage components. Due to the new E-mobility products, the variety of production technologies and new equipments will increase massively.

We are proud that the factory in Timișoara is nominated to play a key role in the global E-mobility strategy of the DRÄXLMAIER Group”, says Dr. Alexander Schubel, Plant Manager Operations at DRÄXLMAIER Timișoara.

The Mayor of Timișoara, Dominic Fritz, expressed his support for the investment that will contribute to the development of the city. „Timișoara City Hall supports all investments in green, non-polluting technologies and we are glad that the DRÄXLMAIER Group chose our city to build such a modern factory”.
