Tatra supplies its chassis around the world. Several hundred will end up in Jordan
Tatra Kopřivnice wins orders all over the world. More than three hundred unique Tatra chassis under a billion-dollar contract will also deliver to Jordan. This is the biggest project of this year for the automaker.
Tatra will gradually deliver a total of 328 Tatra Force 4 x 4 chassis to Jordan, where the local business partner will install special military superstructures according to the requirements of its customers.
The Tatra Force 4x4 chassis are suitable for vehicles with a total weight of up to 19 tonnes and will be equipped with Cummins 276 kW engines, a fully automatic transmission and a central tire inflation system.
Another important market is Turkey, where only this year Tatra supplied 29 chassis Tatra Force 8 x 8, because the Czech car manufacturer participates in other tenders for the local army, especially logistics vehicles, tractors, recovery vehicles and special bodies
