Toyota produces hydrogen from renewable sources for one of the factory's trucks

The Japanese automobile manufacturer has installed its equipment for the production of hydrogen produced using renewable energy, and a filling station based thereon at the Motomachi production facility in Japan.

The new equipment provides locally produced fuel for Toyota trucks that deliver fully green, by-product clean water. The development of hydrogen-based technologies is in line with Toyota's "Manufacturing: zero carbon challenge" objectives.

Toyota has launched a unit called SimpleFuel1 at the Motomachi factory in Toyota City: SimpleFuel is a water-dissipating hydrogen generator that can store and dispense hydrogen produced with solar energy, ie renewable energy.
